| wow, i haven't written in here since february? that's crazy. i miss the xanga days. blogging used to be the greatest thing going. and now facebook and myspace have overtaken it. i mean, they're fun and all ... but there's something much more personal about blog sites. reading thoughts. writing thoughts. you get to see the world through the eyes of someone else for a few lines. there really needs to be more of that in the world. yes, of all trends, it may have been one of my favorites.
so i'm here because i was over at a family's house tonight for a game night for my summer "job" (i put "job" in parentheses because it's hardly a job .. more like a carefully planned gift of an entire summer, straight from God). and the mother of this family was showing me pictures on her xanga site. it's funny to think that people existed before you knew them. it's funny to think that who a person is today is a culmination of all of their past. anyway, so it inspired me to come write something. i have to maintain this at least a little bit so it doesn't get deleted, right?
so much has happened since i last wrote. wow. my last semester at school .. deciding on a grad school .. graduating .. nearly this whole summer internship. i think i've changed quite a bit as well. even in these few months. life just keeps marching on.
anyway, that's about all i have to say. now i think i'll go explore my xanga-days :)

| kaitlyn is in LAX right now .. headed to australia. and sam and matt and kristy are headed to australia.
..i want to be with them more than words can say! but i am incredibly excited for them.... and the second it's right for me to go back, i'll be on my way.
in the meantime, i'll sit here expecting over half a foot of snow while i dream of the sunshine coast ;)
